Stress can make us feel like we are drowning. Trapped by things that hinder us from being free and living a life filled with joy. The effects that prolonged stress can have on our lives can be detrimental to our well-being. Feelings of being overwhelmed, out of control and lost can leave us feeling like we are spiraling.
An inability to appropriately manage your stress will show up in every area of your life, often causing us to be unable to focus our attention on the things that matter most or things that demand our attention such as work, school and family. Learning proper skills to handle stress and decrease the negative effects of it in your life, will help you to improve in your relationships, have more patience in dealing with other people, find more joy within yourself and experience better outcomes in working to achieve goals.
In therapy, we can work together to identify your major stressors and come up with practical solutions to help decrease stress and better manager those concerning issues. Whether you are dealing with new stressors or long- term stress, I can help you learn healthy ways to address it.

Feelings of fear, anxiety, confusion, uncertainty, anger and sadness are some of the feelings many clients are experiencing during these times that make it even more difficult to function on a day to day basis.
